NEW YORK -- With the non-waiver Trade Deadline just a day away, the Rays have already done most of their buying, adding first baseman Lucas Duda and relievers Dan Jennings, Sergio Romo and Steve Cishek.
Owner Stuart Sternberg and manager Kevin Cash both said the Rays could still be in store to bring in more pieces if the opportunities present themselves, but they are comfortable with the group of players they have right now.
"If you told me we were starting the year with this club, right now," Sternberg said, "I would put us as the favorite in the division.
