ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Blake Snell didn't stick around long enough to win his 10th straight start, but the Tampa Bay Rays left-hander felt he solidified his chances for the Cy Young Award in his final appearance.
The Rays beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 on Saturday night.
"I feel like I have a pretty good case," said Snell, who leads the American League in wins (21) and ERA (1.89). "They're going to pick who they pick. I don't have a say, but the work that I did put together, it's a great case to have.
