The Tampa Bay Rays have agreed to one-year deals with outfielders Kevin Kiermaier and Corey Dickerson, avoiding arbitration.
The club did not disclose the terms of the deals. According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, Kiermaier will earn $2.975 million in 2017, a significant bump from his $514,400 salary in 2016. Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports that Dickerson's contract is worth $3.025 million, a similar raise from the $522,900 he made last season.
Kiermaier, 26, won the AL Gold Glove Award in center field last season, claiming the hardware for a second consecutive year.
