The Rays turn to the surest thing they have in terms of pitching tonight as they send Charlie Morton to the mound, seeking his 13th win and to lower his 2.77 ERA that ranks second in the AL.
Morton has pitched relatively well against the Mariners (4-3, 3.97) and in Seattle (3-1, 4.30), and said it should work to his advantage that few of the current Mariners have faced him.
With the Mariners using righty Matt Wisler as an opener then planning to bring in lefty Tommy Milone the Rays lineup has a bit of a different look.
