The Rays have agreed to terms with their No. 1 pick in the 2016 Draft, Joshua Lowe, per MLBPipeline.com's Jim Callis. The team has yet to confirm the deal.

The contract is worth $3,098,900, slot value for the No. 13 overall pick. Lowe, a third baseman from Pope High School in Marietta, Ga., will also receive a $2.6 million bonus, according to Callis.

The Gatorade Player of the Year in Georgia, Lowe led his high school club to the Georgia 6A championship game. The 18-year-old had committed to play for Florida State, but instead opted to sign with the Rays.
