The Rays activated Logan Morrison from the 15-day disabled list on Monday. The first baseman had been on the DL, retroactive to July 28, with a right forearm strain.
Morrison went 3-for-13 (.231) with a double and two walks in four games on a rehab assignment last week for Class A Advanced Charlotte. He's hitting .228 with 10 homers and 31 RBIs in 87 games this year.
Morrison had been bothered by his forearm since the All-Star break before eventually going on the DL. He was in a 2-for-23 stretch in his last seven games before being placed on the DL.
