Minneapolis — For the third consecutive day, the Rays fell behind early. In the bottom of the second inning, Max Kepler rapped a solo shot to right field off starter Chris Archer to give the Twins a 1-0 lead. The Rays, who hadn’t led at all in the series at the time, had to play catch up again.
They started with a sharp single to center by Matt Duffy in the top of the fourth inning, followed by a walk by rookie Jake Bauers, and Ramos double to deep right center scoring the two on base.
