Archer's last start against the Tigers was strong, and he would look to build on that while the Rays for the sweep against the Blue Jays and Marco Estrada
The first two innings saw both starters put up zeros and work around baserunners. Archer worked around a 1-out double with a strikeout and flyout, and Estrada getting Robertson and Wendle to fly out after Wilson Ramos singled to extend his hit streak to a MLB leading 14 games .
The 3rd inning would see some very questionable baserunning decisions.
