ST. PETERSBURG -- Colby Rasmus said he is "day-to-day" after an outfield collision that took place Thursday night while on a rehab assignment with Class A Charlotte.
Rasmus took off Saturday from Charlotte, but was on hand to work out at Tropicana Field prior to Saturday night's Rays-Blue Jays contest at Tropicana Field.
"I feel OK," Rasmus said. "I just feel like I ran into somebody. ... I'm going to try and be smart about it."
Rasmus, who has been recovering from hip surgery in October, said his right knee took a shot on the play.
