ST. PETERSBURG -- Rick Porcello maintained the high bar established by Boston's starting pitching with a solid outing against the Rays in a 3-2 Red Sox win Saturday night at Tropicana Field.
Chris Sale and David Price contributed 13 scoreless innings in the Red Sox's first two games against the Rays, and Porcello extended that streak to 18 1/3 before surrendering a run in the sixth inning.
Porcello still came away with his first win of the season, allowing one run on six hits and a walk while striking out four.
