Pham day to day with right foot contusion

ST. PETERSBURG -- Newly acquired outfielder Tommy Pham left Thursday afternoon's game vs. the Angels prior to the start of the seventh inning with a right foot contusion.

Pham got hit by a pitch on the foot during the Rays' four-run fourth. He was clearly in some discomfort afterward, but he remained in the game and scored on a wild pitch by Angels starter Andrew Heaney. X-rays were negative and Pham is day to day.
