During this afternoon’s contest between the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox, first base hopeful Nate Lowe clobbered a baseball into orbit. The ball eventually returned to the atmosphere and landed atop the Rays clubhouse in right field.
The was was projected to travel at least 460 feet before landing and bouncing at least another 100 feet away from home plate.
Nate Lowe broke out in 2018 and established himself as one of the top power hitting prospects in all of baseball. Across three levels (A+/AA/AAA), Lowe would hit .330/.416/.568 with 27 HR over 555 PA.
