The Tampa Bay Rays have traded left-handed pitcher Adam Kolarek to the Los Angeles Dodgers for minor league outfielder Niko Hulsizer.
The move came just minutes after the trade deadline officially passed as part of a slew of moves made by the Rays on Wednesday.
Kolarek has been relied on heavily by the Rays this season, appearing in 54 games. Overall in the 2019 campaign, he has registered a 3.95 ERA / 4.54 FIP over the course of 43 1⁄3 innings pitched. The Rays originally picked up Kolarek on a minor league deal during the spring of 2017.
