ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Tampa Bay second baseman Logan Forsythe and center fielder Kevin Kiermaier have left with injuries after they collided in shallow right-center field Friday night against the Chicago White Sox.
Kiermaier ran into Forsythe just after Forsythe caught a pop fly by Avisail Garcia with two on and two outs in the fourth inning.
Kiermaier appeared dazed as he sat in the outfield after the play. He was able to walk off the field without assistance.
Forsythe has a bruised left hip and lower leg.
