CHICAGO -- Rays center fielder Kevin Kiermaier was out of the lineup vs. the White Sox on Monday due to a bone bruise on his right foot.
The Rays center fielder was hobbled after fouling a ball off his right foot in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox. Monday morning X-rays were negative.
Kiermaier was wearing a boot on his right foot Monday morning, but he was optimistic he would be back in the lineup soon.
