DENVER -- Tonight's Rays-Rockies game is under a weather delay. No official time for the first pitch has been announced; a tarp was put on the infield minutes before the scheduled 6:40 p.m. MT/8:40 p.m. ET start time.
Although rain had not yet started at game time, lightning was spotted in the area less than an hour before, and fans in the upper deck were asked to take shelter in the concourse. A storm cell is expected to pass through Denver, according to Weather.com.
