I'm heartbroken about the Rays trading Evan Longoria. I understand a lot about the team's explanation, but that doesn't make it any easier. He was my favorite player and the one constant on a team constantly changing. How do you view the trade?

I believe the Rays looked at how they went for it in 2017 and still came up short, then surmised that they'd be better off trying to build a solid foundation for a future run rather than continue treading water in the talented American League East. But I do understand how fans feel.
