Hunter Renfroe hits the first grand slam in Rays postseason history

The Rays are working hard to hit as many milestones as possible this postseason, and in the second game of their AL Wild Card series against the Toronto Blue Jays, they collected one more, and it was a big one.

During the bottom of the second inning Mike Zunino hit a two-run homer to add to the Rays lead, and the team was playing some excellent small ball, something they’ve excelled at all season. And then, with the bases loaded — Arozarena, Diaz, and Margot all on board — new postseason hero Hunter Renfroe came to the plate and absolutely hammered a grand slam into left field.
