ST. PETERSBURG -- Jim Hickey will not be back as the Rays' pitching coach in 2018.
Hickey, who served in the position for 11 seasons, had one year left on his contract. He said the decision to part ways was mutual.
In addition, bench coach Tom Foley will take on a new role within the organization.
