CLEVELAND -- There was an undeniable tension at Progressive Field on Friday night.
Rays starter Tyler Glasnow was the culprit for the uneasy feeling that fogged the Indians' ballpark. The right-hander seemed dialed in from first pitch, facing the minimum through his first 14 batters before allowing a seeing-eye single to Melky Cabrera past a diving Willy Adames in the fifth inning for the Tribe's first hit.
Cabrera's dribbler was the only hit allowed by Glasnow until the seventh inning, when Edwin Encarnacion ripped a one-out, first-pitch home run to break a scoreless stalemate.
