ST. PETERSBURG -- Recenly acquired Tyler Glasnow showed his potential firepower, and Willy Adames provided the game-winning run with a walk-off homer Tuesday night as the Rays beat the O's, 4-3.
Tied at 3, the game appeared headed into extra innings before Adames connected for the winning blast to left field against Miguel Castro with two outs in the ninth.
Glasnow's start, though only four innings long, proved to be lights out. He allowed two hits -- one on a home run -- as he flaunted his strike-throwing ability.
