In his final start before the all-star break, Blake Snell put up his best performance since he rejoined the Rays back in mid June. Snell last pitched on the seventh against the Angels (the Rays skipped his turn to limit his innings this year), where he allowed two runs on four hits, walking two and striking out seven over six innings of work, but unfortunately came away with the fourth loss of his career.
