Gibson has been one of the more dependable pitchers in the Twins rotation thus far in 2018 and can be pointed to as another reason why pitchers wins and losses don’t matter as he has a 3-6 record this year, despite a 3.59 ERA and 3.99 FIP.

His last start came on the 7th against the Baltimore Orioles where he allowed three runs on four hits — one home run. Walks have been problematic for him, as he allowed four free passes during the start against the Orioles, while he did rack up nine strikeouts over seven innings pitched.
