Escobar ejected as benches clear twice in 7th

MINNEAPOLIS -- The benches cleared not once, but twice, between the Twins and Rays in the seventh inning on Sunday at Target Field.

With Eduardo Escobar at the plate with two outs in the seventh after Brian Dozier scored the go-ahead run on a balk by reliever Diego Castillo, Escobar exchanged words with catcher Jesus Sucre and Castillo. Both benches cleared, including relievers running in from the bullpen, but no punches were thrown.
