The Durham Bulls defeated the Norfolk Tides 5-2. The Bulls drew first blood in the bottom of the third. Andrew Velazquez and Willy Adames singled to put the first two runners of the frame on the bases. Jake Bauers pulled a grounder down the first base line for a RBI double.
