ST. PETERSBURG —Rays RHP Sergio Romo had been waiting three weeks for the chance to tell Michael A. Taylor how much disrespect he had showed in a previous game. And as soon as Romo struck out the Washington outfielder to end Tuesday's game he let him know in an exchange that sparked a benches-clearing scuffle, though it didn't escalate beyond some pushing and shoving.
Romo's issue stemmed from the June 6 game when Taylor stole third base in the sixth inning with a 9-2 lead and Romo on the mound and, in some descriptive words, Romo told him so on Tuesday.
