Archer dominated the Blue Jays on Tuesday, limiting them to one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out 10 in six innings to pick up his ninth win of the season. In his last seven starts, Archer has struck out 61 and walked just eight.
Though his string of eight consecutive quality starts ended his last time out, Lynn has been the Cardinals' most consistent starter this season. Since the start of July, he has averaged six innings a start and posted a 2.08 ERA.
