ARLINGTON -- The Rays recalled right-hander Hunter Wood from Double-A Montgomery and right-hander Chih-Wei Hu from Triple-A Durham on Tuesday. As announced after Monday's game, Jose De Leon was optioned back to Durham, and outfielder Peter Bourjos was placed on the disabled list with "tennis elbow," retroactive to May 29.
Bourjos noted that his elbow has "just been barking a little bit."
"Just a little sore," Bourjos said. "Nothing too bad. ... This is just kind of something that flared up. I've been playing through it. I think it's a good time to let it calm down for 10 days.
