BOSTON -- Saturday was not supposed to be a bullpen day for the Rays. But the sizzling Xander Bogaerts turned it into one anyway by putting together a monster game in just two at-bats, leading the Red Sox to a comfortable x-x victory, their seventh in a row.
Bogaerts went off in the first two innings against Rays starter Jake Faria, lacing a two-run double to left in his first at-bat and then unloading for a towering grand slam that soared over the Green Monster in left-center and on to Lansdowne Street outside Fenway Park.
