Chris Archer started for the Rays and looked dominating while pitching three perfect innings, striking out five Orioles in the process.
"I felt really good," Archer said. "The way everything was coming out of my hand: Changeup, fastball, breaking ball, everything felt good."
Ubaldo Jimenez pitched three innings for Baltimore, allowing three hits, struck out one, walked one and threw a wild pitch. Second baseman Robert Andino backed him with solid defense when he dove to his left to stop Jake Hager's sharply hit grounder, then threw to first for the final out in the second inning.
