Andriese delivers, bullpen closes out win over Boston

Matt Andriese and three relievers combined on a three-hitter, Jake Elmore hit a two-run homer and the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1 on Saturday.

Andriese (3-2) retired his first 11 batters before allowing his lone baserunner, coming on a two-out single in the fourth by Xander Bogaerts. The rookie struck out five in a career-high six innings as the Rays rebounded from a 4-3, 10-inning loss to the Red Sox Friday night.

Wade Miley (7-7) gave up two runs, five hits, two walks and struck out eight over 6 1-3 innings for Boston.
