The Cubs selected Baez with the ninth overall pick of the 2011 Draft. Though he has not yet made a splash at the Major League level -- .201/.252/.346 with 10 home runs in 309 career plate appearances -- he had a productive Minor League resume that included a .288 average with 89 home runs and 300 RBIs in 393 games.
