Rays Acquire Corey Dickerson In Trade With Rockies

The Tampa Bay Rays are set to acquire outfield Corey Dickerson from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for Jake McGee and some minor league prospects, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

Colorado has been shopping all of their outfielders since acquiring Gerardo Parra in free agency, and Dickerson is the guy they've been the most willing to move.

Dickerson batted .304 with 10 homers and 31 RBIs in 2015, but was limited to just 65 games due to suffering fractured ribs on July 30. He had a breakout season in 2014, batting .312 with 24 home runs and 76 RBIs in 131 games.

McGee posted a 2.41 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 39 relief appearances last season, including six saves.
