Winnipeg scores four times in the third to beat Lightning, 7-3

The Tampa Bay Lightning started off slow and finished slow in their 7-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Just six minutes into the game, Tampa Bay was down two goals, and while they managed to tie things up by the end of the period, they failed to take the lead at any point and a break down in special teams led to two goals against in the third and proved to be the difference.

Ryan McDonagh, Alex Killorn, Victor Hedman, and Ross Colton scored for the Lightning while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 26 of 31.
