It’s finally here. It’s time for us to see players don the Tampa Bay Lightning jersey and take to the ice in real, live hockey. It feels good. We can wash away the stink of the early playoff exit, and finally start taking steps toward feeling good about the new season.
Training camp and preseason is also the time to get (sometimes falsely) hyped about prospects and new players to the organization. We get to see them in action. We get to overreact to a good or bad game by an 18 year old player! So let’s get to what we should be watching for during these preseason games.
