The Tampa Bay Lightning got tonight’s game off to a terrific start with a rebound goal from Tyler Johnson in the opening minutes of the First Period. Apparently Lightning actually does strike twice, as Tyler Johnson so adeptly proved in the Second Period.
As most of you know by now, the Tampa Bay Lightning really played a solid game tonight at the Amalie Arena against the Detroit Red Wings. This was much like Thursday night’s game except the Lightning were finally able to resolve the little matter of Petr Mrazek.
As we mentioned before, it was Tyler Johnson who opened up the flood gates in the opening minutes of the first period, and the Tampa Bay Lightning would come bursting through; ensuring the Detroit Red Wings would not be able to contain their energy.
