The Lightning roster is reduced and the Syracuse Crunch are stocked

Goalie Ray Emery is released from his PTO and a waiver claim was made for another goalie.

The long impending roster reduction to start stocking the Syracuse Crunch has been made by the Tampa Bay Lightning this morning, with a few rubs as a waiver claim has been made at the goaltending position and a few thought-to-be roster reduction players remain with the Lightning.

First off, placed on waivers are forwards Mike Blunden, Tye McGinn, Philippe Paradis, and Jeff Tambelini as well as defenseman Matt Taormina. We'll know if those men clear waivers at noon on Monday.
