As the clock strikes 3:00 p.m. here on the East Coast, the National Hockey League Trade Deadline has officially come to a close for the 2015-16 season. While there was not a lot of movement from the National Hockey League as a whole, one team that was almost suspiciously quiet in the days leading up to the deadline was the Tampa Bay Lightning.
There have been rumors circulating around the National Hockey League for months leading up to today. Everyone from Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos to estranged Lightning rookie Jonathan Drouin has been rumored to be on the list to find a new home in the 2015-16 season.
