The Tampa Bay Lightning sure gave the New York Rangers a hell of a wakeup call on Monday night as the Lightning systematically destroyed the Blue Shirts in Game 2. As the team rolls back into Tampa for Game 3 tonight at the Amalie Arena, the Lightning hope to keep the same intensity they brought just two nights ago.
It almost seemed as if we caught the New York Rangers by surprise in Game 2. When we kicked off this series on May 16th, the Tampa Bay Lightning made a few missteps that gave the Rangers a slight advantage, but with these two teams being on such an even keel the series had all the makings of going the distance.
