It was by no means easy, but after watching a commanding 3-0 series lead become 3-2 in a matter of days, the Tampa Bay Lightning closed out the Montreal Canadiens with a 4-1 win in Game 6 on Tuesday night.
They now advance to the Eastern Conference final for the first time since 2011, where they’ll play the winner of Wednesday’s Game 7 between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers.
