TAMPA — Following a recent victory in San Jose, Steven Stamkos seemed somewhat subdued. Following a loss the next night in Los Angeles the Lightning captain seemed frustrated, and was short when answering questions from reporters.
The two-day display was a little out of character for the normally upbeat and accommodating Lightning captain.
And then came more social media madness on Wednesday, after his Twitter account showed he “liked’’ a story on TSN asking fans whether or not the Toronto Maple Leafs should pursue the pending unrestricted free agent and Toronto native this summer, should Stamkos not re-sign with Tampa Bay.
