Quick Strikes: Lightning assign players to Syracuse, lose another preseason game in overtime

Unfortunately the Tampa Bay Lightning couldn’t keep their luck going from Friday’s victory and lost their second game to the Nashville Predators on the Saturday night. Pat Maroon made his debut and Alex Volkov, after scoring a goal in the previous game, got a chance to play on the first line.
