I’m foregoing the normal format because hockey as a sport largely took the day off yesterday. And rightfully so, it was Labor Day. While the holiday was probably still a bit uneasy for most of us in Florida as we worry about our neighbors in the Bahamas and wait to see what Dorian does once it starts moving, the rest of the hockey world relaxed.
Justin Williams gave us the only bit of significant news when he decided to take a break from hockey. He didn’t officially retire but he did say that he would not be playing to start the season.
