Jonathan Drouin wants out of Tampa Bay. But should the Lightning let him go?
Drouin, the third overall pick in the 2013 draft, in November asked the Lightning to trade him, Drouin's agent, Allan Walsh, revealed Sunday.
Drouin, not long ago considered one of the NHL's top prospects, apparently does not feel he has been put in the best situation to succeed. He played bottom-six minutes for most of last season and was scratched for 20 of 26 playoff games.
He started the 2015-16 season on a line with Steven Stamkos and racked up six points in the first five games.
