Tampa Bay Lightning
MONTREAL — The Lightning are having a bit of an identity crisis.
In failing to capitalize on the chance to sweep, Tampa Bay was outplayed, outshot and outhustled for most of Game 4 and heads to the Bell Centre for tonight’s Game 5 against Montreal hoping to call off the search party, even while holding a 3-1 series lead.
Through four games, Montreal has been the better possession team, outshooting the Lightning while holding Tampa Bay to 25 or fewer shots in each game. The Canadiens hold a 144-102 shot advantage, which is a reversal from the five regular-season meetings, when the Lightning outshot Montreal 189-120.
