Lightning snap three game losing streak with a 3-2 overtime win in Nashville

The Lightning broke their three game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Predators in overtime. Nashville got off to a hot start in the first period but Tampa came back and took over in the second and third periods. And unlike the last two games against the Caps and Canes, they were rewarded for their strong play.

The Lighnting opened the scoring in the first period against the run of play on a slapper from the high slot from Victor Hedman. The teams traded goals in the second period with Calle Jarnkrok scoring to tie it for the Preds and then Ondrej Palat finishing a pretty passing play to give the Lighnting the lead again.
