Friday night was pretty much perfect for the Syracuse Crunch, who ran the Cleveland Monsters out of their own building with a 5-0 shutout win. Hugo Alnefelt stopped all 35 shots he faced for his second win of the young season.
The Crunch had five different goal scorers on the night. Gabriel Dumont, Felix Robert, Daniel Walcott, Cole Koepke, and Maxim Groshev to round it off. Both Dumont and Sean Day walked away with two points in the team effort. Four players had four shots for the Crunch in the game, including Robert, Groshev, Declan Carlile (no surprise), and Mitchell Chaffee.
