On Wednesday, the AHL named their playing rosters for the 2024 All-Star Classic presented by Tech CU. Representing the Syracuse Crunch will be Gage Goncalves. In his third full season with the team, Goncalves has 30 points (7 goals, 23 assists) in 33 games. The 23 helpers ties him for 7th in the league. The soon to be 23-year-old (his birthday is on the 16th) had a strong sophomore campaign last season with 54 points (13 goals, 41 assists) in 71 games.
The 2020 second-round pick for the Bolts is developing nicely for the organization after a strong junior career with the Everett Silvertips in the WHL.
