As the Tampa Bay Lightning announced yesterday, Dave Randorf has been hired as the new play-by-play voice on FOX Sports Sun, replacing Rick Peckham, who retired after being an announcer for the last 24 years. Dave Randorf will join the FOX Sports Sun broadcasting team, which includes such names Brian Engblom, Paul Kennedy, Dave Andreychuk, Bobby Taylor and Adam Hall.
Randorf, 53, has over 30 years of broadcasting experience, most recently he worked at Canada’s Sportsnet network, serving as a play-by-play announcer for Hockey Night in Canada, Wednesday Night Hockey, Rogers Hometown Hockey and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
