It’s here, folks. The last month of the regular season is upon us. The Tampa Bay Lightning kick off their final nine games of the season tonight against the Detroit Red Wings. They’ll then play eight more times over the following 16 days, finishing things off with a home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on April 17th. After that, hopefully playoff things.
On paper, it’s not a bad schedule for a team looking to clinch a playoff spot. They finish things off with four of their final five games at home and as of right now, only two opponents are currently in a playoff position.
